Play’s MTV Promotional Reel, “The Girls Upstairs”

Below is a five minute promotional reel that was produced to give MTV an idea of the look and feel Play‘s show might have on their network. It shows a little bit of the girls’ acting abilities. Here is the video and a message explaining a little bit more! Hope you enjoy!

Hello, everyone. We thought you might enjoy seeing a five minute promotional reel which will show you a little bit of our acting abilities. This was produced to give MTV a sense of the look and feel our show might have on their network. The producers are using the title “The Girls Upstairs” at the present time. Whenever you hear us talk it is “in character” for the show. Sanne’s character is called “Sondra,” Anais is “Laila,” and Emelie is still Emelie. It was filmed mostly in different places around Beverly Hills. The roof top scenes are at the hotel where we stayed, the Thompson Beverly Hills (which was amazing). We hope you think this is fun and entertaining. Let us know!

A Message from Emelie to the Fans!

Emelie is very touched by all of your comments and questions. She sent a message (and picture!) for everyone. It’s been about a month now since she was introduced to us, and it’s been great getting to know more about her.

Anaïs Thanks You for Your Questions!

Here is a thank you message from Anaïs! She, Sanne, and Emelie have answered a lot of your questions in the previous post. Thank you girls so much for taking the time to come here and personally respond to everyone! It’s been so much fun reading everything.

Thank you so much for all of your questions! You are all such sweethearts! I promise you I will answer all of your questions soon! Talk to ya soon..

PUSS (wich means…?:)

Love,

Anaïs

As I’ve said, I’m working on putting all of the questions and answers on pages so it will be easier to find and read in the future. Again, thank you girls and thank you fans!

Want to Ask Play a Question? Here’s Your Chance!

The girls are giving you an opportunity to ask them questions! They will try to answer as many as they can. Please remember to keep your questions appropriate and respectful.

Have you ever wanted to ask us a question and get a real answer? We notice that with many of the posts on Play Mania a lot of people respond with questions about one subject or another, things you would like to know that you are curious about or just don’t know the answer. We think it is about time that we answer what is on your mind. So this is your opportunity to ask us whatever you want. You can ask the question to all of us or any one of us individually. We will try to answer as many of your questions as possible either publicly on Play Mania or privately if you leave us an email address. We are not sure how this will work so at least to begin with we have asked our co-manager in Los Angeles, Glen Kulik, to help us with this assignment. With each question we will give him our answer and ask that he relay our response as we gave it. We will be the ones answering each question. Please keep your questions respectful to all persons concerned. Let’s see how it goes!

Love, Anais, Sanne, and Emelie

Please check the comments because questions are now being answered and one of them could be yours! I have also made a separate page for this Q&A so it will be easier for everyone to see the questions and responses: Play Mania’s Fan Q&A with Play.

Message from Play, Interview with Anaïs Parts 2 & 3

Thank you all for your replies the past few days about the fifth song from Under My Skin that should be considered for Play‘s new EP or album! The girls have now narrowed it down, but still have to make a final decision. Also, you can now watch the final parts of Anaïs‘ interview.

Thanks so much to everyone who responded to our question about a final song from UMS to be used on our upcoming American EP. While every song had its supporters it appears the favorites, from which we will be choosing, will be Under My Skin, Girls, and Famous. Each song has something to offer. We are aware of Big Time Rush, and we agree that is an issue, but Famous will not be our single and it has been our most recognizeable song the past year, so it is hard to leave the song behind entirely by leaving it off the EP. As for Girls, we are well aware that on the internet more than twice as many people have listened to that song as any other song off the album, and we can’t ignore the fact that means people really like the song. As for Under My Skin, we will tell you it is a personal favorite of ours and from your responses the past couple of days it seems many of you like it as well. This will be a difficult decision. We wanted you to know the factors we are considering in making the decision.

We are continuing our television efforts and hope to have an update for you soon. We thought in the meantime you would enjoy seeing the second and third installments of the interview with Anais which occurred last December. She covers a wide range of issues related to Play, its past, its present and its future.
