I said it in the other topic about this song, she seems to have the most solid voice out of anyone associated with Play under Janet and Fanny. I hope we get to hear more from her!

The reason why I have the Elodie version is because I bought the song at midnight last Tuesday when they mixed up the radio edits with Elodie’s version instead of Emelie’s. I would have uploaded it but Elodie said on her Facebook page not to spread her version around so I’m going to respect her wishes.
If Glen won’t tell us the WHOLE story on what happened when the girls broke up then I’m done with Play and play-mania and I will not be supporting any of the former members in their solo careers. GOODBYE PLAY AND GOODBYE PLAY-MANIA!

The only news on Anais is that she took a job in Sweden and seems to have quit showbiz.
Anna is modeling in NYC among other things. She’s really busy with many things in her life right now both professional and personal so she’s in a really good place.
Yeah, “busy” with things that never come to fruition. One random song and a mv that was finally released by their choreographer 4 years later. Until I see something solid released from Anna I’m going to take her updates about being “busy with a lot things in the works” with a very hesitant excitement.
Oh, Courtney not this again..Lol are we forgetting the song she released to iTunes less than a year ago? I know & agree that it’s taken forever for most of her things to come to “fruition”, however it is fact that it usually takes no less than 6 months and often much longer for record deals, distribution etc to be signed and dealt with no matter what the project is. Any companies working on..Well, anything have to do loads of research on a person, demographic, and the topic at hand before they’ll ever agree to releasing anything. Just because an artist hasn’t “officially” released anything, doesn’t mean they’re not hard at work on it.
I’ll use Lady Gaga as an example. She had been signed to Def Jam records after basically lobbying herself for a record deal in new york for 2 years, and never got 1 song out under them in another year on their roster. She released 1 very small EP when she was maybe 18 years old on her own, leaking it to the internet. She had been dropped from Def Jam, and than RCA which is a cousin label had promised to sign her but never did, that was another long period of time before she FINALLY got signed to Streamline/KonLive/Interscope and took a couple more years just to get her first single “Just Dance” on any sort of rotation anywhere what-so-ever. There probably wasn’t one day that woman wasn’t working on something. I’m not saying Anna is anything close to Gaga or ever will be so please don’t read it that way cause I REALLY don’t see that ever even coming close to happening, it’s just an example of just how long this industry can take which is WHY they recommend you start while you’re young to get all the time consuming b.s. out of the way as early in your life as you can. Music really doesn’t seem to be at the forefront of Anna’s ambitions right now, she really loves modeling and she gets modeling gigs constantly, you can even see some of her work in NYC. She doesn’t share *everything* online which is unfortunate for her fans here at PM or elsewhere but there’s also many times contractual agreements that you can’t personally share some things until published etc. :\
Seriously everyone is entitled to their opinions but if you guys’ fighting gets another post closed I’m going to be ticked off. Not everyone has to like every girl, but please respect what each individual girl does. Some people might now view certain things as success or whatever but as long as that artist feels like they are doing something- get over it. Please try to have a little more class and understanding when it comes to other people and their opinions about who they choose to support. FYI I loved Brand New Me by Anna Sundstrand!! :)

i just want to say that i keep on supporting the girls and this website. i love Emelie’s song. i hope to hear more from Em. Lisa does this site stays this way or do you make a blog again? and what about the fanproject? of this year? are we going to see the video? maybe when all the girls of play see the fanproject video they realize how much they mean to us. i would like to see the video anyway if that’s possible. XX

Well since I obviously had no idea the girls split up when I started this fan project, the timing was really bad. No one’s sending in anything anymore, and I haven’t gotten anything for it in months now anyway. I don’t have enough submissions to make a video like I wanted to. And some of the videos and things that were sent in are irrelevant (hoping to see the girls tour, excited about everything, etc.) and I didn’t even start putting it together at the time. So I don’t know what I want to do about it. I appreciate those of you who took the time to send in things, but like I said, timing was really bad and I don’t think anyone really cared to participate in it after hearing they broke up again.

In times like these, you just need to listen to Waka Waka, and plot the idea for a really cool film, and maybe draw some pictures to go with it.
Hahaha, Edd I was doing that earlier. Except not to Waka Waka although that would be a really good fit.
