I don’t like…
The choice to continuously distorting her voice in every solo song released is very puzzling… Even more puzzling is why (and how) she thinks it sounds good or better than no distortion.

Strangely I prefer either Rosie who sings this song that Faye
i agree with basically everyone here hopefully she will record more songs and show us what she can really do by herself or show how she has matured musically.
At some points she almost sounds like Rosie. This is different, especially from what we’ve seen of her with Play. That being said, I think its good. Its unique. Its not normal pop music. If this is the direction she wants to go with her music, then I wish her the best. Shes going to a whole other place with her solo stuff, it seems. I admire her courage to take the risk to do something different. This song doesn’t show off her vocals to what we know they can be, but its still a really nice song. She sounds awesome.
She has a beautiful voice and I love when she really sings. Wish her voice wasn’t so covered up in this song by the computer. she was awesome in “Go Your Own Way”
I love the lyrics, but not so much the vocal effects like everyone else has pointed out.
I really like a lot of things about the song–the darker vibe is intriguing. But the production value is mediocre and it doesn’t do justice to her voice at all. She needs raw, stripped-down arrangements. And for the love of all that is holy, NO AUTOTUNE! Come on, this isn’t some little teenybopper crooner, this girl has an amazing voice. Actually, come to think of it, she had an amazing voice when she was a little teenybopper crooner too.
