As I read this letter from Anais, Faye, and Sanne, I am filled with such excitement and happiness that words can’t even describe!

“To All the Wonderful Fans of Play in the U.S.A. and Elsewhere

We want to thank you for the incredible support you have given us over the years and continue to give us. We are truly blessed to have such loyal and passionate friends in the U.S. and elsewhere outside of Sweden. We all grew up together, and we appreciate your love and encouragement more than you can ever know. This only makes us determined to come back stronger and better for you than ever.

The past seven months have been spent rehearsing, recording and performing but only in Sweden. We felt it was important to stay close to home as we started this new journey, so we could welcome Sanne into Play and restart the process of becoming a real group again. It has been hard work, and we still have a ways to go before we will be satisfied with our performance. But we feel ourselves growing stronger each day. We want to perform for you, speak with you again in person, and tell you face to face how much you all mean to us. Time may have passed, but our connection to all of you is as strong as ever. So is our love of singing and performing. We are proud of our new CD and hope you like what you have heard. Rest assured, it will be available for purchase in the U.S.A and elsewhere.

So let there be no doubt: Play is returning to the U.S. and we are determined to do it in a big way. We have commitments in Sweden through the end of summer, all of which is a rehearsal for branching out and conquering the world. This fall we will start plotting our return. There are people already working to make that happen. We will be performing in New York in December, and it is possible other dates may be added on that trip.

But the truth is we need your help, perhaps more now than ever. We cannot do it without you. As always it is up to you wonderful fans to spread the word – we need and love all the support we can get from you! Soon you will hear about exciting new contests that will allow you to win Play CDs, merchandise, and even get a special phone call from us. We know we have been very quiet up until now, but things are ABOUT TO GET VERY LOUD. We hope you will be as excited as we are.
