Rough translation / idea of the article..
Play will release “Under My Skin” in April, and their new single Famous is raging on the charts. QX asked the girls to check out the competition of a couple of other recent single releases.
“In A Moment Like This” N’evergreen & Chanee
Anais: “The Sweden two points.” It was not my style of music.
Fanny: You have heard it before, it feels Melodifestivalen and Fame.
Sanne: A two.
“Superstar” – The Ark
Anais: Cool sound and cool text, a four.
Fanny: I liked his voice. Three, it’s not as good as Calleth You, Cometh I.
Sanne: Well, a three.
“Parachutes” Cheryl Cole
Anais: It seems like everything on the radio. I almost fell asleep. Fight for this Love is much better.
Fanny: The verse was right, the chorus was not so fun. Two.
Sanne: Well, it was nothing for me either. One.
I continue the translation…
“Kick Ass” – Mika
Anais: Zero. I don’t like Mika and his “sassiness”.
Fanny: No, he’s hysterical, it’s up and down, here and there. Zero, because it’s him, but three to the song.
Sanne: He sings really good, at least three.
“Amazing Grace” – Boy George
Anais: I will dance to this when it’s summer, three.
Sanne: Three, but it sounds flat. He’s trying to copy Bob Sinclair, but this won’t really work.
Fanny: It’s a little like Sing Hallelujah. Three.
“What Do You Want From Me” – Adam Lambert
Sanne: Oh, this! This is awesome. My five points.
Fanny: Yes, you hear immediately that this is good. Five from me too.
Anais: Even though I don’t have it on my iPod. Who is he? Ahaa… Is he gay? Aha, okay. Good!
“A Little Respect” – Magnus Calrsson
Anais: No, I wouldn’t buy that. Ew!
Sanne: Zero, it sounds like a bad copy of “Kom Hem”.
Fanny: I like Magnus a lot. But no. One. Because it’s him.
